About Amber
Whether you are an adult navigating life's complexities or an adolescent processing emotions, my goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment to work towards self discovery, healing, and growth. I utilize a combination of therapeutic approaches and theories including strengths-based, person centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness. I am especially passionate about helping clients process emotions and develop healthy coping skills.
I have been working the social services field since 2011 with clients across the lifespan in various settings including outpatient mental health, hospice, hospital, schools, and addictions counseling. I graduated with a master's degree in Social Work in 2018, and have been a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) since 2019.
